BTCCSquare news:

None of Your Business (noyb), a Vienna-based privacy advocacy group, has filed a complaint with Austria’s data protection authority alleging TikTok’s unauthorized collection of user data from third-party apps including Grindr. The complaint cites GDPR violations, claiming TikTok monitors behavioral data—from shopping cart activity to LinkedIn interactions—without adequate user disclosure.

Privacy advocates warn such tracking extends beyond TikTok’s own platform, creating blind spots for users. The allegations follow noyb’s earlier complaints against Grindr and AppsFlyer, amplifying scrutiny of cross-app data flows in the ad-tech ecosystem.
